Over the past two years we have convened a series of seminars in order to discuss our art practices, particularly the interrelationship of thought, site and process in our work.
This sound piece was made for a private showing/ discussion of our work in Sheffield in January 2016. We each exchanged 'gifts' some months earlier, to incorporate within a new piece of work. One of the gifts I was given was a cassette recorder. I used it to listen to tapes (interviews) I had been conducting since about the age of 11.
